This first edition hardback copy is in excellent condition and was signed by both Douglas Preston and Steve Elkins in January of 2017.
It includes the original pamphlet from the book signing in California as evidence of it's authenticity. The signatures themselves are dated and the book's serial number is in line with the first edition release date. The signatures are guaranteed genuine.
Regardless of varied feelings about the expedition reported in academia, I hope everyone can agree that it's a great read. I recommend it for anyone interested in history, archaeology, pre-columbian America, geography, travel, and adventure.
If one hasn't read it, I highly recommend buying a copy in whatever format is suitable and enjoying it. If one finds their-self wanting more, looking to memorialize it in some way, this signed first edition copy could be a great way to go.
