This swank pair of vintage silver cuff links displays an Egyptian cartouche of a scarab beetle rolling the sun. They were originally sold by Onnig's of Cairo Jewelers at the Cairo Museum in Egypt.
They are marked with an Egyptian pictomark signifying that the silver content is 800 silver. They weigh approximately 11.7 grams. Their original date of sale is unknown, likely 1960's or earlier.
They are in excellent vintage condition with a little mild tarnish adding to their vintage charm. They come in their original box, which remains remarkably well intact with only mild surface abrasions - making it a fabulous display piece. This set would make a great addition to any distinguished wardrobe.
