The Discovery Sextant is an official issue of the National Maritime Historical Society presented in 1992 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's voyage to America. 

It is a fully functional re-creation, crafted in solid brass. 

This Discovery Sextant is in excellent condition, with light base scratches.  It includes it's original certificate of authenticity and informational pamphlet.
