This Power of the Emerald Isle Celtic Watch was made by the Franklin Mint in the 1980's. It's face displays a Celtic Cross design with Celtic knots. The watch case is solid sterling silver with plated twenty four karat gold accents and inset with a genuine emerald. It is complemented with a black leather band.
This watch is in excellent vintage condition with it's original box and leather band as released by the mint. As with virtually all vintage Franklin Mint items containing gold plated silver, the gold plating on this watch has some tiny tarnish spots within the Celtic knot work around the outer rim. In addition, it has some tarnishing on the clasp and connections of the leather band.
This is one of the rarest watches in the Franklin Mint Limited Edition series. It makes a fantastic formal watch or display piece.
